Twitter and Facebook are the two most used social media platforms to this date. With the fall of myspace, Facebook took over and Twitter followed soon after. The world was taken by storm by Twitter after the fall of myspace.

Personally, after I was moved from my original house and I lost contact with all my friends, when I became old enough I made a Facebook account in hopes of getting in contact with them. After weeks of searching I found one of my best friends on the website, the social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter help bring people together that lost contact with one another. Now, Facebook has a way of letting people know you are safe during natural disasters or when dangerous things are happening around you.
