Final Reflection and Fake News

Oh, the places we'll go.

This semester has taught me so many things that will stay with me for the rest of my life. The things I learned about media writing and the experiences I have had in this class are ones that I can't forget. The most important class experience I had was when we FaceTimed the ESPN workers, the connection we made with just that short call is one that can help in the long run.

FAKE NEWS or ALTERNATIVE FACTS!

This seems to be all what the media is wanting to talk about nowadays. Ever since President Trump came out and stated the media was all fake news, the media has eaten it up. News can be written however the anchor wants it to be. We talked about this topic in class one day, if the anchor is very left-winged his or her broadcasts will be very left-winged. If they are very right-winged the broadcast will be very right-winged. The news that we see is brought around and never seen as the way it truly went. It is all opinion based.
