This years Super Bowl had one familiar face and one not so familiar face. Tom Brady, has been to 7 Super Bowls, has won 5 and received 4 Super Bowl MVP's. The only two Super Bowls Brady has lost were in 2007 and 2011, both versus the New York Giants. Matt Ryan, had been to 0 Super Bowls but had been selected to 4 Pro Bowls.

That shows the true difference in these team leaders. The game was nothing short of amazing. At the end of the first quarter no offense could break the other teams defense. The score was 0-0, and a lot of fans thought it would be a very low scoring game. By the end of the first half the Atlanta Falcons went up 21-3 and it seemed like the New England Patriots couldn't seem to score. The Patriots scored their 3 points with just a few seconds left in the quarter. In the 3rd quarter the Falcons came out strong again scoring quickly to make the score 28-3. The Patriots finally got a touchdown on the board but MISSED the extra point, so the score was 28-9, the Patriots would need almost a miracle to come back. In the 4th quarter that miracle happened when the Patriots scored 19 unanswered points to tie up the game with a little under a minute remaining. The Falcons couldn't get the ball down the field quick enough to kick a field goal, and thus the first ever Super Bowl Overtime started. The Patriots won the coin toss and elected to recieve the kickoff which means that all they have to do is score a touchdown and they win the game. The Patriots got the ball down the field giving James White a 2 yard run 4 minutes in to win the Super Bowl!
